About the Park
In response to community requests, the Parks, Tree, and Recreation Advisory Board has designated Harbon Park as a chemical-free park for the 12th consecutive year. No insecticides or herbicides will be used except for emergency care on endangered trees, turf, or shrubs. The use of fertilizers and mosquito spraying will be permitted
only as necessary. This will give Laramie citizens who are chemically sensitive a city park to utilize and enjoy without concern of possible exposure to chemicals and pesticides.
